- You contact me directly, or via my secretary, using the booking links above or the contact form.
- Your appointment is confirmed at Claremont, Thornbury, or by video, whichever you've chosen.
- At the consultation, I take a full history and, where clinically appropriate, carry out an examination. For video consultations, if an in-person examination is needed I'll explain why and arrange a face-to-face follow-up.
- You receive a clear explanation of the findings and a management plan, with a report to your GP where appropriate.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a GP referral to book an appointment with Professor Jha?
No. You can self-refer and book directly with Professor Jha. A GP referral is not required, though existing GP correspondence is welcome if you have it.
Should I choose Claremont or Thornbury?
Both are the same consultation with Professor Jha, at the same fees — choose whichever hospital is more convenient. Claremont is at 401 Sandygate Road, S10 5UB; Thornbury is at 312 Fulwood Road, S10 3BR.
How do I book a video consultation with Professor Jha?
Contact Professor Jha's practice directly using the contact form or by phone. Video consultations are suitable for initial assessment, second opinions and follow-up appointments; if an examination is needed, Professor Jha will arrange a face-to-face visit.
What happens after I book my appointment?
Professor Jha confirms your appointment type, location and date. At the consultation, she takes a full history, carries out an examination where clinically appropriate, and explains her findings and management plan, with a report sent to your GP where relevant.
Can I get a second opinion from Professor Jha without travelling to Sheffield?
